There is no indication that pot is harmful to your health. It is a fact though that it does affect short-term memory. There is even a pot activist out there that says that smoking pot makes you more alert than not smoking pot!

Well pot is bad for you no matter what. It is against the law and is against the morals of alot of people. But physically speaking no it isnt bad if you only do it sometimes. Some ppl here will say it is and that you should stop, but if you arent lying and if you really only do it occasionally then u should be fine. Just dont get hooked ok?

Of course not. As long as it doesn't affect your ablility to function in everyday life, why would it be bad? I smoke pot pretty much daily and have for a while. I have an awesome job where I make lots of money, I go to college, and I am very active, I rock climb and hike and camp almost every weekend. Again, why is it so bad?

Medicinal use of marijuana dates back to a Chinese guide to medicines written more then 4700 years ago. The world's earliest confirmed marijuana user was a pregnant teenager who lived 1700 years ago. Her skeleton was found near Jerusalem i 1993. Until this century, pot was advised for pain, headaches, cramps, and even ulcers. Today it is suggested that pot prevents nausea associated with chemotherapy, reduces eye pressure, promotes weight gain in AIDS patients, decreases muscle spasms with MS, suppresses the immune system in transplant operations, and stabilizes mood in mood disorders.
However the use of marijuana poses certain dangers.
first - The perceptual distortions it produces may result in tragedy.
second - because it is illegal, pot purchasers never know exactly what they are getting. for example, a designer form of the drug may have 10 times the usual THC content and produce terrifying paranoia.
third - Long-term use may result in shifts in the personality toward passivity and general lack of motivation.
finally - Pot interferes with memory.
Just because some doctors say it is OK does not mean that you will get what a doctor per scribes from your local dealer.

If you go to school, you were taught by the time you were 12 what is good and what is bad for you to do, eat, drink, smoke, inject, et cetera. So go review your notes. Or find the material to relearn it.
Either way, I think you should go ahead and do whatever you want. Of course, if it all goes bad (and I'm not saying it will), you won't have to bother with the excuses about how you had no idea what was gonna happen.
Come on now. Don't you think you should generally do whatever is best for you as much as possible?

Very few things are actually good for you, but smoking pot occasionally will have negligible health consequences - just make sure it's not laced.

No pot is not bad for you. There are more deaths outthere from cigarettes and alcohol then weed. So smoking it occasionally is okay. It cannot harm your health.

No. If you only smoke it occasionally it is basically completely harmless.
The health risks of marijuana aren't actually very well known. A lot is congecture. There hasn't been enough research into it.

and pot today is not just pot. not like in the 70s. take it to a lab and you will find out that they have mixed it with all sorts of crap to get it to grow faster, spread further and sometimes hookk you on it. buyer beware.
