I am from the tropics and it's quite acceptible especially for the lady folks to trod along with different kinds of beautiful summer umbrellas.

Who said that it is not acceptable? It is perfectly acceptable in certain situations to carry around an umbrella. It just seems that most women in America (even though we know the dangers of the sun) still want to get sun so they do not protect themselves from the harmful rays. I think that it is a good idea to be protected and that could mean a large brimmed hat or an umbrella, if you don't mind carying one around.

In New Orleans (almost tropics) ladies also use umbrellas in the summer time. I think it's a smart move. Why don't you just do your thing with the unbrella and start a new trend! OR...start a new business!!! You go girl!
