How long shold a person keep a pair of underwear? And what do you do with them once they are too old?

I must have boxers, calvin klein boxer briefs, whitey tighteys, etc. that are over 5 years old. Breaking up with underwear is hard to do.

Ha, this is a good question. Underwear is something that in my opinion should be replaced every 6 months or so. If you got holes then you should replace. As long as its comfortable i wont throw it out. ^_^

After a while underwear just becomes gross and unusable. Get rid of it if it shows any signs of aging:
stains
holes
rips
discoloration
tears
stretches
fraying
etc.

Just throw them out, no one wants your old undies. If you really can't bear to throw them out you might be able to use them as cleaning rags (the briefs and boxerbriefs) or you could sew them into a quilt (the boxers).

until they have holes or the elastic is shot. if you wash your underwear after every wearing, then you can keep your underwear as long as you want.

once you do want to get rid of them, throw them away. no one wears used underwear, except perverts.

mine goes the the trash after less than one year. Expensive or not. It's used and worne out

if they don't fit, are torn or haven't been worn in a year or so; it's time to say good bye. but if you have the room in your drawer and your undies are that special to you, by all means just keep them. :)

The more you wash them the nicer they feel. So, as long as it doesn't have any hoes then you can keep wearing them.

i guess when it has holes or too thin i have sum that are pretty old but in good condition.When they are too old toss em you dont neeed them any more

ummm... throw it away and go buy some new. I keep mine for less than a year!! :)
