As already said here beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think they look good for their purpose which is literally clothes hangers, however for most of us to aspire to that its unrealistic not many people have the natural makeup or resolve to look like that.
As a teenager I spent many a month training and watching what I ate aspiring to be thin when I gave up worrying and accepted me for me curves and belly included I actually got so much more attention , and my husband assures me curves are definitely more appealing to a lot of men...
So even as a fantasy figure I don't think many guys drool over catwalk models , underwear models perhaps...lol

In my point of view, some of them are attractive, especially when they are wearing enough to cover up a bit of their figures in suits / elegant formal wear, some of them look cool in bikinis / see through items too.
If you can afford to buy those items, you would buy something that fit on you (wide range of size from 36 to 46 Italian sizes, 2 to 12 American sizes) and make you look /feel good. Does it really matter who wore those items in the fashion shows? Would you remember how those models looked like when you are trying the clothes on?
To survive in the fashion industry isn't easy, they all are professional. I respect them for all the hard work they've done to keep their figures in shape and catering what the designers required.

Anorexic is the word I'd use to describe them. Its not exactly attractive seeing women with bones poking out all over the place even if they got nice skin. Sorry can't afford what they're offering, besides some of the clothes they have on display is nothing short of ugly. My thrift shop has what I need to look good and feel comfortable.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The fact of idolizing the 'skinny' is making a rather unrealistic view of the majority of people. The catwalk models tend to have to restrict diet and health for their success. Anyone remember Marilyn Monroe...she would be fat according to today's standards. I understand she weighed In at over 130 lbs.

Attractive-sometimes. However, they're often chosen simply because they are:
A provocative enough.
B tall enough.
C skinny enough.
I'm all for being thin and in shape, truly. But why are bones that I never knew existed threatening to tear the skin because they stick out too much appealing or sexy? That's only because we are told that that's beautiful. If you really study a model's body, close up, you will probably find that they are often not even remotely attractive.

Usually the clothes are real expensive and only look good on very thin women. I wish the models had a little more weight on them. They don't look natural to me.

The attention of make-up artists can make them facially attractive in photos but if you saw one of them shambling down the street, taller than the average man, with no make-up, you'd probably think they'd escaped from a freak show.

I don't think most of the are. They have very defiant facial features and usually are very bony. The clothes are nice most of the time but I would never pay the extreme amount of money for the rags.
