I spent all my money on getting the car through inspection. I don't have any skirts/dresses. My "dress" pants aren't really dressy. Can I wear capris and a nice top? The people getting married are in their mid-20's. The groom works with my bf and the bride I've met a couple of times. She has piercings in her nose and eyebrow.

I went to a used clothing store last night and couldn't find anything good.

I see the first answer which was very rude has been removed...so the first guy isn't the guy that the last person is referring to.

i would think the Capri's would be OK. The best thing would be ask someone from the wedding party. If they say that the wedding is a bit more formal than that you could always go with a wrap? It always works for me in a pinch. Go to your local fabric store and buy 1-2 yards of fabric that does not fray. Depending on what size clothes you wear. Like i am a big woman so i get 2 yards. A really small woman could get by with a yard and an average woman would probably use a yard and a half. So go to the clearance fabric. Usually it's $1-$2 a yard. Find a cute fabric. Take it home and wrap it around your body... below your arm pits. Tie in a bow and move the bow to under your arm. (almost like a toga but not over the shoulder) Makes a very cute dress. Ear with thongs and it can be worn casually or for this instance formally, just by the accessories you choose to go with it.
But in all likelihood the Capri's should be fine. have fun at the wedding.

Capris and a top are not acceptable. Go ask a girlfriend if you can borrow something for the wedding. Or try a used clothing store if that doesn't work. Unless the wedding is in a barn...

I think it has to do on the style of wedding rather then the brides piercings..
If it is formal I suggest you borrow a dress from someone lol why not have your bf call him and ask if its formal or not

Just wear somthing that you would wear to work.there's nothing in the rule book that says that you have to be dressy when you go to a wedding.just as long as you look nice in what you have on.thats all that matters.
