he might have stopped a flat butted revolution.

I've always wondered, that song was so played almost everyone knows about it, i think he had some or more impact on it.

It's not a trend. Big butts are hereditary and whether you like big butts or not, that's a matter of personal preference. His song was just a song that became a huge hit.

Sir Mix-A-Lot did not invent big butts. They're not trends, they're hereditary. Urban cultures have been praising big butts for years...long before Sir Mix-A-Lot spoke his opinion.
