What is so wrong about living the single life and enjoying it?

why are you worrying about what other people say??? live your life and let people have their own OPINIONS~~ they're going to anyway!!!

i have an inkling that perhaps the women who u've "romanced" have called u those names... probably because they liked u and most people are in constant search of looking for "the one"...? perhaps u need to make it clear In the beginning, to whomever u go out on dates with, that ur not really into serious relationships. also, try not to date women who are looking for a boyfriend (pretty much most women i would say).... if u live on ur own and hang out w/ the boys, i don't think anyone would call u a jerk. but if u want woman companionship w/o the strings, that's where the bad names can come it..

Usually a jerk is someone who uses and/or hurts people for their own pleasures. Someone who is rude, obnoxious, or just plain annoying. If you're not interested in marriage or commitment, then that is your prerogative, it doesn't necessarily make you a jerk. Single life is great for some people. But if you are using women or take advantage of them, then yes you are a jerk, and deserve to be called that.

I think that they general assumption is that women will marry anyone (abusers, alcoholics, etc) since there is such a societal pressure for women to be in a relationship. So if a women is single, then she just "hasn't met the right guy" yet but if a man is single then he "must really be a jerk" since it is assumed that women are not too picky...go figure!

Well most people especially woman have the notion that they are leasing with the option to buy ..
you on the other hand just want to test drive everything make the floor mats dirty , put your grubby paws everywhere and just want to be seen with it for not even a hour and then drop it back off , with no intentions of ever leaseing nevermind buying .

Nothing's wrong with it. Some people are unhappy with their own choices in life, and feel that you should share their unhappiness.
