The Color Purple made after the Pulitzer prize winning story The Color Purple by Alice Walker. A great book made into a beautiful movie directed by Steven Spielberg with a great crew of actors.
Whoopy Goldberg shines in her role as Celie and she captured my heart. I can never get enough of this movie. I love it

THE HOURS!!! it was the most depressing movie ive ever seen but it was also the most captivating. having an all-star cast is simply fantastic. the way the three stories were intertwined was also superb. good direction and good acting make the movie on top of the list of the movies ive ever watched. nicole kidman deserved the oscar she had for playing the role of virginia woolfe. julianne moore and meryll should have oscars too.

It would have to be "Amistad" directed by Steven Spielberg, (with Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins, Nigel Hawthorne, Mathew McConaughey) it's a great story, great performances, great locations... it's a great movie most ppl haven't seen.

My favorite movie would have to be 'Saw'. It was just an all-round great film. It kept me in suspense the whole time. The ending was so unexpected and (unlike other horror films nowadays) it was actually scary. I loved it. If you haven't seen it yet I would recommend it!
