Now I have nothing against being a vegan, but why is it that every time I talk to one I need to hear why I should be one? I don't try to explain to them why they should eat meat....or why I do - I don't judge anyone for their beliefs - to each his own - so why is it shoved down my throat? And ONCE AGAIN...I am NOT against veganism, I just feel they are little too quick to judge....

if you want to eat carion and carcass.. go for it..I mean really did you know they "season" (nothing to do with spices) the meat before they bring it to market.. most of it has been rotting..er I mean seasoning almost a month before you see it advertised as "fresh"?..lol eat all you want, they'll kill more..

I eat that way but I am not one beacuse I wear leather. I have had to do it due to digestion problems and at first I was pissed! I was like - I want some pizza! Now, I cannot even remember what it tastes like and all I have to do is think about how sick it will make me and I am not interested. All I can tell you is that I can speak for myself and I feel a lot better not eating that crap! Even my Dad says, the only thing that should really drink a cow's milk is a calf, and he drinks milk! But, he sees the logic in it.

Its just that vegans obviously have a strong opinion on what is right. Because of there beleaves they feel they are helping you. Dont take it as an insult.. just know that they mean it in a good way. not something you should take offence in.

im veggie and I totally agree im not like that you just need to direct them to were you want them to be tell them to keep there pride to themselves and if they really want you to be vegan they would let you think of this on your own so you can make your own decision

It makes them happy and they think it will make you happy, too.
They are just trying to help you. But it's help you don't want.
Just change the subject to something you do want to talk about.
And something that gets their interest.

They are just like any other religious fanatic - always right, and keen on converting the rest of us.
