The reason I believe is empirical. If the moon can pull the tides around, even water in a glass, lunar (crazy = lunatic). I worked in a psych ward and on a full moon night the crazy people were crazier.
Also if the little moon can do that, why wouldn't Jupiter, Mars, and Venus lined up pull the chemicals around in our heads. We are 80% H2O. Notice how some days are peaceful, other hectic, I don't believe astrology as reading like a Psychic but more as a guide to people's disposition. That why those astrological colanders are

People read the daily horoscope for their sun sign and most of the time they say it doesn't fit, well that is usually true, it doesn't fit because there is so much more to astrology than your sun sign. We all have a rising (ascendent) sign and then we start becoming individual when it comes to our moon sign (which changes every 21/2 days), where is your Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, Pluto located in your natal chart and what signs are they in? What is on the midheaven?
All of the above is about just your natal chart, then there are progressions and aspects and to fully understand astrology you really need a college degree in astrology. My mother has the degree and she still doesn't understand it all.
The planets (and their aspects) do have influence over us, but we always have free will. The natal chart can show where your greatness can be and where your weakness may lay.
The full moon does pull on us in a way that if we have lunatic tendencies then more than likely we will be howling at a full moon.
The ability to read and understand astrology is kinda like understanding a different language and it does have it's benefits.
For example, planets go in retrograde, they don't actually go backwards, but from where we are it appears that they do, and when a planet is said to be in retrograde it has an effect on us here on Earth. Just recently Mercury went retrograde and when that happens I know that Mercury has to deal with communication and transportation, the key to handling a retrograde Mercury is to RE, revise plans, re-type that letter, re-submit my expense budget, re-view my proposal, re-check my car, re-think my wanting to make a certain phone call. And when the computer goes down at work I know that Mercury has something to do with it and I don't get upset, I just chill and wait to see what Mercury is trying to tell me. Oh yeah and never sign a contract or purchase appliances while Mercury is in retrograde, always and I mean always something is gonna go wrong.

i truly believe that that moon has some kind of connection to mood. i am generally a really sweet girl and that's what my hubby loves about me. there are two times a month when i get pissy. during my period and when there is a full moon. and i don't mean just a little edgy i get cranky as all hell. my husband is always aware of when there is a full moon and he comes home with flowers each time to try and manipulate my mood but it always happens and i just have to be left alone. i can always tell its a full moon cause people drive bad. i listen to this one physic on the radio and her explanation on some planet doing something kinda makes sense but i think it may be different for everyone. it would however, be a nice science to read up on.

Everyone feels like Horoscopes are true, because of only one reason: they want to. Horoscopes and Astrology use terms and sentences vague enough to apply to everyone's lives. Look at this horoscope for Saggitarius:

*When you present your ideas, don't be afraid of a challenge -- encourage it.

This is only for those born on the last days of November and most of December, but I'm sure that a lot of people who read this, regardless of their astrological sign, will see that it applies to them as well. I'm not dissing anyone's beliefs but astrology isn't based on anything that's really proven and the fact that it doesn't apply to every single person that it should, means that it isn't anything more than some funky coincidence and a bit of hocus-pocus.

Though there are some effects on our body due to various planetary bodies and nature, no one can predict our future. Astrology is a pseudo-science. In other words, there is nothing scientific about it. It is all mumbo-jumbo.

It seems that you have learned a lot about the subject but I don´t believe it to be that way.
Your theory is totally anti religion
so anyone who believe in God would not consider your theory to be true.

But it does sound interesting.......
