you know where skin tones come from but what about eyes and hair where do they come from? where does brown hair with blonde natural streaks and dark blue, greyish eyes come from?

It is genetic. Blue eyes and grey eyes have weaker genes than brown eyes. Same with hair. Green eyes are in the middle. That means that if your grandparents had brown eyes but one of your parents has brown; and if you have three siblings, you will probably all have brown eyes. If two grandparents had blue and one parent blue, one of you might have blue too. If you have grey or blue eyes but marry a brown eyed partner, chances are your child will have brown eyes. But there are kick-backs, and a grandchild might come along with blue eyes. It can go back a long way.

Dark hair nearly often wins over light. But most of the kids have light hair until they reach a certain age. And often the youngest child ends up with the lightest colour but I don't know why this is so.
If you are alone in your family having blue-greyish eyes, then you are very special. it is probably from an ancestor somewhere that everyone forgot about. If you want to continue this trait, marry someone with a long-line of blue eyes in their family!
But you know this kind of obsession is a bit dangerous ... even fascist.
All colours are lovely, so fall in love with eyes that make your heart melt, no matter what colour thay are.
You can change your hair colour easily if you want to and now coloured contact lenses are available.
It is fun to play around but the best thing is to love yourself as the way you came into the world because the colours you were born with are a gift from those who love you best - your parents and their parents and their parents and endlessly back into your ancestry.

Our genetic make up dictates our colouring. I know that skin and hair colour depends on how much melanin we have (more = darker). That's as much as I can tell you - it is all in the wonderful world of DNA!!
