No, Tom is a nutty freak who is mind controlling of Katie and believes that aliens are out there controlling us.
Mel is now know for what he really is: an anti-Semitic. He said that it was the booze talking. Alcohol my a$$! He knows damn well he does not like the Jews and said exactly what he felt.
They both suck on their own f@cked up level. And they both have children who will be DNA linked to this a$$holes! Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson's agents should get together and brainstorm on how to get these two guys back in the good graces of the general public.

the media always pounces on any celebrities that have a bad day or experience. this in only fueled by the interest for such tabloid trash by the common public. celebrities are people as you and i, who get into life's dilemmas as we do.
with Mel Gibson, there are too many DUI violations daily which is the crime at hand. now his remarks, and other vulgar speech that was recorded by the officers is property of Mel, and the local/state government. not the press, unless the press was actually there during the infraction. when the information of his DUI and racist rant leaked to the media, that was another infraction unto itself. the breach of confidentiality of law enforcement and the court system. they are limited on who and how they release information to the public and the press. Mr. Gibson did drive under the influence, the only crime, the rest unwanted freedom of speech. the public needs to stop fueling the fire of the frivolous press by the interest in such.
Tom Cruise is always the forefront of such celebrity affairs, and he must monitor what he says and does. he knows how the media can skew his every move. he has a right to his own life and the path, with Katie and newborn child, etc. he does not owe the world anything. with that said, he must remember to respect, and tolerate others as he wants to be respected and tolerated.

Most of them are a bit nutty when you get right down to it. I still have Tom Cruise at the top of the "nutty list". Mel Gibson is more than nutty he's a bigot.
