i dont like skirts to wear at school soo...thats not an option. should i show off my namebrand clothes first? can someone PLEASE...help me??!!!---signed: clueless of the first day of school!!

yea, u should wear wat ever makes u feel good about ur self. put n ur first outfit and imagine urself in school, see how u feel, and so on

Honestly I know that at your age name brand clothing is a big part of things but I think you should wear what you are comfortable with no matter the price. You have to think of what your parents can afford... you can get good prices and nice looking clothes at a department store but you can also go spend twice as much at a name brand store. I am the type of girl that always wore nice looking jeans and a nice top. I never wore anything too revealing but I always still looked attractive. Just always remember to look presentable... Do your hair every morning, make sure your make-up is done ( that is if your parents allow it) and make sure your clothing does not look like you just picked it up off the floor. oooo.i wish i could give u some real goooood advice. but thats in the past, i wear uniforms now.
but my old self would say sumthin like. yes!don't show off ur clothes that u wore last year first!u would be humiliated. u should wear ur name brand clothes, 4 the first week, them go back 2 the ones that aren't,. just make sure u mix ur clothing up.

me too!!! well i suggest that you dont(!!!) wear all namebrand on the first day. thats too tacky, and besides you gots to save some for later. so wear a cute pair of jean, mary-janes or even sneakers will do. pair it with an adorable blouse if your gonna go with the mary-janes and a t-shirt if your gonna go with the sneaks. and check out http://seventeen.com for some cool ideas

wear what make you feel comfortable in. If you dont fel comfortable, it will def. show, and then it wont matter what you're wearing, everyone will see you are not being true to yourself. Good luck!!
