He's what Steve Erkel would have become if Family Matters were still on the air. Never seen someone try so hard to be cool and fail so miserably. As a black person, I'm disappointed. "Boo-yah"? He's the only black person who can say that and still sound white.

Not at all. Stuart Scott is very Knowledgeable and this black white thing should stop because he is black and he does not even sound white and if he did who cares he is still black but it does not make any difference at all he is a good anchor and probably does not care what you think because I am sure he is way more successful then you. I mean what do you want from him... do you want him to dress like a thug and talk ghetto

don't hate on Stuart Scott. Few black people put themselves in the position to be where he is in the first place. You can talk about how nerdy him and the other black guys are on ESPN, but the fact remains they are the few that took their educataion that direction and did something with it. Black journalist are few and far between, so we should be celebrating them...not tryin to pull their ghetto pass cause they say "Boo-yah" the way their boss wants them to.

read this article...maybe it'll help you appreciate those few like Scott...

That dude thinks he's funny, but he ain't. We can't say a damn word because he hosts like every show on ESPN and that's because he got connections if I'm not mistaking. If I'm in charge of ESPN, he ain't going to host any show, but I let him do the highlights cuz that's the only thing he's good at. Steve Levy is the man though.

it's the hip hop culture. Stu is an icon, and has been at the forefront of easing the transition of street venacular (sp?) into common conversation.
I don't think he's annoying, I just think he needs to get some fresh lines.
And by the way, Tiger Woods sounds pretty white saying it too. Ed Bradley.. Beh, I can think of more. So Stu's not the only one...

Some of you people sound like the individuals who say that trying to get ahead is white. So I guess trying to fail is black. All you haters need to get a life.
So in your world Spike Lee and Russel Simmons are sell outs,
also include Nelson Mandela. Please review your black history and examine what is takes to make a contribution to the world. If not, please get off the Internet and take your misguided ideas and put them in the toilet where they belong.

From a black man.

Craig Kilborne was pretty bad. You're right though.

If you want to not be annoyed, just look at the lazy eye.
