no danger really, but pointless. Vitamin pills are rarely effective when brand new, they do not break down in the gut and are excreted, one of the biggest problems waste treatment plants have is that their machinery gets clogged with vitamin pills that never dissolve. If you wish to take vitamins, take liquid vitamins that are 100% bioavailable, and don't bother with outdated pills.

it might be dangerous, because in some vitamins there are preservative while others are pure . In any case with a vitamin preservative can become less effective and the vitamin can get contaminated. Also vitamins might change chemically over time and become harmfull. So i wouldnt take anything that expired.
