I will not leave my home but we need to address our serious lack of compassion we have and our matter of fact way in which we deal with world problems .
WE no longer negotiate we dictate and those who do not like us are against us .BUSH has created a monster and i fear for the future of this once great democracy with people like him in-charge .

If the world stops supporting America... you mean, by buying US Treasuries and thereby taking on billions and billions of dollars of our national debt? It's true that our nation's financial status is being propped up by Russia, China, and Japan (those are the top three buyers of US debt). If they decide to stop, and if this were to cease, the economies of the world would ALL collapse pretty quickly. It would make the Great Depression look like a picnic. Do some research about this on your own... The Daily Reckoning is a good web site with a lot of financial commentary in this vein. I particularly like the guy who writes as The Mogambo Guru, check for his archived articles, they're entertaining and informative, and kind of scary too when you think how fragile the global economy is and how everything basically hinges on the US housing 'bubble'.
You have a lot of guilt for whatever reason. I'm a US citizen. I feel that I (or anyone else here for that matter) have the freedom to make a great life for me and my family. I am not my country's government. I am not a bully. I do not need to be taught a lesson. I am not spoiled. I don't treat minorities differently because of their race.
I appreciate what I have. As for the government, well, let's just say the pendulum always swings back the other way.

What are you talking about? the world doesn't support America. Everyone hates us and is very vocal about it. Anything we do we are opposed no matter if we are trying to help or not. The only time we have bullied someone is when the 3 worse presidents were in office. Can you guess who they are? America and I mean the people not the shity @$$ government that is running things doesn't agree with most decisions but the people in power found a loop hole around everything made to keep us stable and right. Their is no repersentation in America and we need a second revolution to fix things and put those that will actually help in charge. Bush should be exiled and so should the entire current government and high ranking officials. That may sound a little drastic but come on it's hard to tell who is a good guy now a days. America is sunk in debt and we can't do anything about it with this current government in place. We send like 25 billion dollars in aid to Israel another country and we are in debt up to the trillions. That 25 billion would but a huge dent in our debt and would help. Why do we continue to allow this government to rain and not say anything? Racism still exists but no one is open about and bullshits each other saying that everyone loves each other but we all know we don't. When will we get a change and when will the American people stand up for their rights and take them back? I pray that by my time we are brave enough to stand up or that these people are gone from government and genuine people are in power. Well I'm done with my rant now. So you all can carry on.

You're a jerk.
Why don't you move to lebanon with all the other peace-loving people. God knows we're the only country ever to wage war. I guess you're right, though. It's immoral to interfere with another nations rights to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing. I mean, really, who do we think we are? More innocent people should be gassed in support of a dictators power!
That being said, since when does the world support America? We produce more than any other free nation in the world. But I forget, you don't like freedom. We also send more financial aid overseas than any other country on earth.
But who needs facts, when you can be an idiotic hate-monger with no solutions, but a real big mouth.

I didn't realize the world WAS supporting us...And why would you want to stop trading with the rest of the world? That's how we AND other countries get money. It's the matter of supply and demand. The Middle East may have all the oil they could ever want, but what good does it do when they can't use it? They trade their oil with us, and we give something in return--like MONEY. And we DO run the world because we have one of the strongest economies. Does that make it right? Not necessarily. Are we spoiled? Most likely. But you can't just stop trading like that. You don't make any sense.

America is on the verge of collapse. A society where more and more people can't fit in an x-ray machine is a society of decadence, like Rome before the barbarians took over.
Kiss you precious property goodbye suckers because one day there will be another revolution to end what was started by revolution. The founding fathers would be pissed at you for not taking up arms against Bush - the violator of constitutional freedoms.
The USA is in its last dying breaths, just don't take the rest of the world out with you please.

America is mostly a country of the unbelievably stupid, naive and ignorant.
However, it has become rich and powerful because of a land rich in natural resources (taken with much bloodshed from the natives) and because of a small minority of brilliant scientists and intellectuals who are held in contempt by the majority who take advantage of their achievements.
America has been so provably wrong on so many issues it is absurd and they are too stupid to see it.
1. They now talk about solving the problems of the Middle East after voting in a president who initially said the rest of the world didn't matter to Americans (and wanted to pull out of the Palestinian/Israeli peace process- the Palestinian situation being a prime recruiting sergeant for terrorists)
2. They ignored the rest of the world who warned that they should take stock and plan before invading Iraq (and many of these supported eventual military action.
3. They said they don't believe in Global Warming (the fact that they would ignore their own Academy of Science shows how anti-intellectual they are).

Yes, the world should stop all commerce with the U.S. I'm sure that another country could come up with the many advance technologies that we have. I just wonder if you really know what role the U.S. plays in the world market? You should check it out. By the way you won't be able to use the computer, Internet, or electricity you now use. The things were developed in the U.S.

IF you are not being sarcastic, my hat is off to you, sir.
I agree that america has got a big comeuppance due. The thing that would undo us almost immediately would be if OPEC stopped using the american dollar as the standard and shifted to the british pound. Venezuela is pushing for this, and if it happens we are in deep doo doo.
It is time for americans, too, to realize that just because WE do it, it doesn't mean we're right

Better question:
"What if America stopped supporting the world?"
There is not a country on this planet that does not receive aid from us in the form of billions of dollars, medical aid, Peace Corps, Red Cross, and the military to name just a few.
Since we have most of the purchasing power as well, if we stopped buying or selling things to other countries, then the economy of the entire earth would collapse.
Please use your head the next time you decide to post something.
