Everyone hates when people from California like me talk like Valley-ish. Is just like something you're like born with, and you just can't like get ride of it, you know. Why does like people hate it?. Or are they just like jealous?

i don't know i was born in missouri and i talk like that and everyone hates it but i tell them to get over it.

I think people don't like it because it makes a person sound shallow and silly. And no, how can you be born with it? They talk like that as a result of hearing people around them talk like that one a constant basis.

Because it is incredibly ignorant and makes a mockery of proper English language. You'll never get a job speaking that way.

Because it makes my skin crawl like scratching nails on a chalk board does.
Valley-ish speak is extremely perky, too. I don't do perky.

hey hun....i have herd a few people talk that way before but it was only immature snobs in school...i never knew it was a real language...as for me im southern and tend to type tha way i talk (unless i burn tha spell checker up lol) for example i say "tha" instead of the..."pillar" instead of pillow...and yes i do say ya'll lol....weird thang (there i go again) is that most people like us southerners and our lazy southern drawl.... :) but any way talk the way ya feel like talkin'....cause it's always gonna get on some ones nerves and theres always gonna be some one else that talks like ya....love daisy
