In my experience, you can bleed at the start of a pregnancy. I would wait a few days, compare the amount of blood to a normal period, look for clotting, and then take another HPT first thing one morning. And, when in doubt, see a doctor.

A faint line is still a positive result. You may not be having a period, it could be implantation bleeding. Go to your doctor ASAP.

With my pgs I have been given in basic terms faint strains. If the line shows up interior the time the try specifies i might say you're pg. I never re examined to confirm if the line might get darker. I examined very early I assemble that would have defined the faint line. this is plenty extra probably to get a fake destructive pg try than a fake useful.

Take another test, if it shows positive again go and book an appointment with your GP. You can still have a period or light bleeding when pregnant.

You will need to inform your midwife of your bleeding. They may send you for other tests.

I'm not the expert here, but my wife has had two children. I know there is such a thing as implantation bleeding. Probably not with you though. Check it out.
