the u n is considering a resolution to tax American's to help support the u n. how will it effect you and would mind paying it?

That does not even sound legal? The U.N. should then tax everyone if they are going to tax one country. But, when they do the tax, it should come out of the country's budget, and should not cause us to have a new tax, or a raised tax to support it. It that happens, I think we should say, "Fvck the U.N." I don't think we really need them. As long as we are not out starting wars, we won't have to worry about them because they won't just attack us or anything, and I am pretty sure we could hold our own against anyone else that would attack us.

the US doesn't pay all that is owed to the UN anyway, so who cares?
the UN doesn't have any real power or "teeth", just look at Lebanon...
