I think the only way Sesame Street tried to portray them is as friends. Anyone who thinks otherwise is over thinking it and has a dirty mind. You know children do not see it as a homosexual relationship. I think the whole thing is ridiculous.

No, they are just really good friends who take care of one another. They're just like Felix and Oscar on the "Odd Couple," or like Balki and Cousin Larry on "Perfect Strangers."

i thimk given the audience of their tv show, sesame street, children will not yet quite understand the concept of homosexuality.
