Internet- Do you mean ISP (Internet Service Provider). I have been with Cox Communitcation since 97 and love hem.

Radio- I like XM

Wireless- I have, use and like Nextel. Been with them since 98.

ADSL- I have BellSouth at my office and while the custoner care is good I do not like the ADSL as much as Cable.

Cable- I Love it. I have was a Beta tester in 97 with Cox and by far I like cable over ADSL. I find it more reliable and I did not have to pay for the modem.

VoIP (Internet telephone)- You missed this catogory but I like is better than POTS. I also have VoIP thru COx Communications.

I hope this is what you were looking for.

The best is subjective and depends on many factors. Cable ISP's generally offer the fastest service for consumer grade connections, although DSL is catching up. On the other hand Cable and DSL have limited availability in rural areas, so dial up may be the only affordable choice, and therefore the best. Satellite and microwave ISP's are sometimes an option for these areas, but the costs associated with implementation can price these services out of reach of many.

Many will speak of the T1 connection as being faster but looking at the actual speed involved T1's are actually slower than many cable and DSL solutions. Also T1 service is expensive. A T3 (ds3) service is more likely to be used for very large bandwidth requirements beyond commercial grade cable and DSL but again the cost is very high.

I use a cable internet connection, but I have used dial-up in the past. Cable is the fastest thing possible, and I don't think it makes a difference whether it's wireless or not.
