Can you think of a good thesis?

I need a thesis for a topic on cemetery's, with 3 or 4 supporting ideas and a good conclusion. Any ideas for a good topic that will allow me to develop a thesis?

Thesis statement:
Cemeteries are a bad use of real estate and the environment.

You could support this by suggesting alternative uses for the vast amount of land used to only bury people. This takes land away from other development and/or wild life habitat. It could turn into a pro-cremation paper.

The need to create cemeteries, a resting place for our dead, is a natural urge of human beings as much as the need to communicate via language.

1) Talk about cemeteries always being a human experience, all cultures bury their dead. Even elephants have elephant graveyards, so there is a biological/natural need
2) Why the need to could by, a hypothesis on why this behavior might have developed
3) How the tradition still lingers today, and the need it serves for people who are living (a place to go and mourn), a place to put the dead so they don't stink, or upset us in every day life

Do all graves in Christian cemeteries face east, or towards Jerusalem and why? Is it not feasible, that if we can all stand up on the Day of Resurrection, then we could possible also shift a bit or even turn round? Research history of this convention and the theological considerations behind it.
