Thank you. Barbara Walters should not say stuff like that. You are nor racist for saying that. Ironically, look at how they treat Barry Bonds. He did not say anything racist. He just doesn't want to deal with reporters and aside from this whole court and steroids issue(which I am quite confused on), many persons hate him for having problems with reporters. And yet Barbara Walters can say racist things and not have that much scrutiny against her. I understand.

Who cares what Barb said. Everyone has their view of things. To be offended by what someone says is kind of weak and stupid. Peole that are offended by words are too controlling and are against advancement. Even if someone says something that is stupid or evil to you there is no reason to be offended. The person should not be fired or penalized in anyway for what they say or believe.
There are alot of things going on in the world to be offended by. For example the way illegal immigrants come to this country and sponge off our system. They take jobs from ppl and demand free schooling and health care. That's way more offensive then someone's words.

"I am Mexican, for your information, and even if I wasn't - I would still be offended by her comments."
(forgive me, that's not verbatim, I speak English...)
Now then, where to begin...
OK, how about here. The genocide going on in Sudan. Why aren't you upset about that? Why aren't you asking questions about that? Because you are not Sudanese.
How about the temporary loss of Castro's power in Cuba, and how many Cubans fear his brother (whom he left in charge during his hiatus) more than they fear Fidel? Because you are not Cuban.
Bosnia, North Korea, Vietnam, the list goes on and on. Hell, biggest one in the news, IRAQ. Why aren't you raising hell over how they are treated, by both their former government and the US captors detaining them in Gitmo? Because you are not Iraqi.
So, the bottom line here is you are an opportunity seeking racist. Of course it's news when someone in the public eye like Walters makes such a slanderous remark. But why is it such a big deal? It isn't. Why is it African Americans can drop "N" bombs whenever they like in just about any social setting, but if a Caucasian says it... oh my God, they are such a racist!!
The fact is there is a large majority of the population, yourself included, that is racist in some fashion.
Stop worrying about what an insignificant speck of TV talent thinks about any race. Worry about the big picture.

Did she say this on National TV? I don't know of it. But if she did, she should be censored by her employers. It is wrong for someone with that much clout to say such an arrogant racist remark. I am not Mexican, I am a Caucasian American. In my eyes, that kind of behavior is unacceptable.

You need to read my other post, I added one detail to it. And Barbara Walters is so right.
You're just mad because you're an illegal alien and you can't get a job.

Please post the link from a reputable source that quotes her comments. I don't believe she would say this.
