I need help. On my previous question people were calling me desperate and immature. I'm not. I just needed so information because I'm bad in that area. How do I help them understand that I'm not immature or desperate without my temper blowing up?

Ignore them that will show you are the mature one if you don't let them push your buttons. There are some real cruel people in this world and most have been fry-ed by drugs, they have no heart and no direction in life. They have become cold and callous don't let them control you. You take the control away from them by letting it in one ear and out the other.

Okay, got a laundry list for you
1. Who cares what other people on Yahoo! Answers think of you. Do you hang out with them? Do you go to school with them? Nope. Just ignore any answers that are obviously hateful
2. you are only 14, so while you might be very mature for 14, you are still immature to someone who's 30 or 40
3. If you post something like, someone show me how to get a boyfriend, yea, you come off desperate, accept that and move on. Its that whole double standard thing with men and women.
4. If the people you are interested in, are not interested in you due to the clothes you wear, change your clothes. but not yourself. If they are just going ohh and ahh over the cheerleader types, and you aren't a cheerleader type. Kick them to the side and find someone who'll appreciate you.
5. There is NO rush. Be available, be able to talk to guys, but you are only 14, you've got oodles of time and you'll have plenty of boyfriends. Have fun, and good luck, and be safe.

Hello hun.
Some people. on line and off, are just immature and can not see what you had asked as legit.
Some people live for trauma and drama while others are not happy with them selves until they have upset and hurt others.
There is nothing you can do to change their minds. Being connected to yourself is the best gift you can give, show how positive you are and only connect on here with those of us who want to help and can do so in a fair and understanding way.

so yr 14, just wait it out, the right guy will come, and i can relate.....yr not desprate, you just want to have a boyfriend....what can i say, every grl does.....you dont even know the people that told you that stuff and they dont even know you....people like to judge and jump to conclusions when they see a question......they never stop to think, is she really just curious.....you might see a question on Y/A and think that is the dumbest question..e.x (my period came 4 days late, am i pregnant).....but they probably arnt good in that area and just wanna know.....so what am i getting at?....the people that call you desperate and immature are just judging u based on yr questions, they dont know you....so just forget about them and listen to the people who answer yr questions with real answers!!!!!!!

Hey relax, this situation is not going to remain forever.
It is important that you are always aware of the facts.
