No. I've said this to many brokenhearted people, But I think that certain people have a disorder where they lie to the people they love. Everyone has the desire for sexual contact. Unfortunately, some people let this desire run make decisions that destroy homes and families. I believe people CAN change, but most of the time they DON'T. If someone cheats, they should be taught a lesson by losing their loved one.
BTW, your question should read 'Do people that cheat ever change'. There are LOTS and LOTS of women who cheat.

Men who cheat will always cheat. I was married for 12 years. He cheated a few times in the 1st part of the marriage and said it would never happen again. We then moved on some property to have horses, and he was cheating the whole time we lived up in the country. I found numerous numbers and questioned him and he said it was somebody he bumped into. Not true I called one of the numbers and got a shock. He had been cheating for almost a year with this girl. He told her he was not Married! So if he is cheating get rid of him, and find someone trusting and who loves you and you only. I am remarried to a wonderful man who does not cheat, and would never think of that. He values are on the right track.....

Not often no. For some reason, men who cheat are always inclined to cheat, it's almost like an illness. However, it is possible for a man to stop if they can somehow learn self control, but even that is difficult for some men to do. If a man is cheating on you, it is because he is finding things in other women that he likes more and because he feels you cannot provide all of things he needs.

They can. It depends upon why they cheated. If they cheated because they just love sex, or for revenge then it's doubtful their behaviour would change. However, if they were caught up in some self-doubt issues or whatever, which is no excuse for cheating, then when they see the extent of the damage their cheating causes it is possable they regret it to such an extent that they would never put themselves into that situation again. So the short answers is it they did it because they could then they mat never change. If they cheated becaue of some issue they could not remedy then maybe.

To be truly honest when a man cheats on you and you forgive him there's a low percent possibility that they can stay faithful, since they know tha you're deeply in love with them they'll think "Oh, I can continue doing it and she'll still forgive me" men are way too vulnerable, that's why they simply can't resist temptation, I'm not saying that we women aren't the same but men are most vulnerble. I suggest that if there's a man in your life that's doing this to you and has continued cheating you leave him asap, after all there are SO MANY more fish in the sea *S* Best of Luck! ~V.J.~

No one ever " Always" or "Nevers" as the saying go.
People change people grow. The best thing for a man who cheats is an open relationship...
If you place a busty red head in front of a man and say don't touch her. Then he wants her all the more. But if he has permission to touch her the thrill is gone...

Hi jellybelly...I believe everyone has the ability to change IF they want to. The person who cheated should take responsibility for their own actions, noone else can help or change them. The person who has been cheated on should look within and decide if they are able to accept & forgive the person who hurt them.

Does a tiger change its stripes? Women will marry men whom they know cheated on them before marriage. Any change is a remission and not a cure.

I agree with Sweet up there. Life changes so much, and you can never predict what will happen one minute to the next. It's a conscious decision to make a change in your life, and if that is what the person wants to do, then all you can do is support and trust them.
