November 17th is the release date. That doesn't guarantee you a system though. Most companies, including Gamestop, EB Games, and WalMart are not taking preorders for them. It's going to be strictly a first come first serve deal. My game store doesn't even know how many he is getting for the 17th. He is guessing he will get 3 to 5 of them. FYE here is guessing they will get 7-10.

It is officially the 17th of Nov, and they definately are in production, but as with all systems there will be massive delays, so don't bank of getting one early, before christmas even, unless you fork out for a pre order...
