You'd be a fool to do this.
Dell replaces inoperable systems when they are under warranty with REFURBISHED systems. And they DO NOT give you "newer, faster" systems - they have refurbished systems from the last few years, so you'll just end up leaving yourself without a computer for a few days while you wait for a used computer identical in configuration to arrive.
Further, your problems are most likely with Windows and not the computer physically - reinstall Windows your problems will likely go away.
By the way, the thing I hate about refurbished computers - you could get one that has intermittant problems that Dell hasn't experienced. So when you get it, you wind up on the phone constantly trying to convince them that there's something wrong with the computer but they keep refusing to replace it again...

They'll only give you a new one if the old one can't be fixed. It would be tough to damage the machine to that point without them being able to tell. And intentionally damaging the machine WILL void your warranty.
If your warranty would cover it, you might "accidentally" run over the laptop with your car. That would probably damage it to the point that the only option would be replacement. Have a good story ready when you call Dell - "Oh, I just set it down for a minute to help unload groceries and my dad accidentally ran over it!"
You might try reloading the machine with new software. That will probably solve a lot of your problems. The support people at Dell can help you with reloading.

Normally Dell will replace a pc if there has been three problems reported under warranty with the machine. However I dont know if the Warranty you are referring to has spill coverage. I have worked for Dell in the past and if three problems were reported with the machine then it was typically replaced.

Complete care covers any "accidental" damage will be covered, spilling water is not the best solution. i have worked for tech support and know total destruction is the best way to have a notebook replaced, run over it with your car, and when you call dell just tell them you "accidentally" left it on top of your car when you were going to work, i have actually logged this same case and replaced the notebook, only drawback it will take 5-15 days for them to replace it.
