I think they have a good chance.

Anything is possible in short series.

They do have the pitching, the hitting, the defense, and the experience to pull it off.

Yes, I said they have the experience...Jim Leyland has been there and done that.

He knows how to get his players motivated, and he is not going to let the media get in the way.

I don't know who's going to stop them. They're on fire, and it's burning as bright now as it was in June. While it would be safe at this point to project a Tigers/Mets Series, the Mets weren't impressive in interleague this year, so they may not even be able to stop the Tigers.

As for the first answer; I think the Braves are having a hard time stopping Florida & the Phillies, I don't see them beating the Tigers.

If the Twins get into the playoffs which is possible with how incredible they are playing, I would expect them to win. Imagine a 7 game series where 4 of those games are Santana or Liriano.

They're a team full of youngsters and rookies, especially on the pitching staff. Youngsters tend to struggle in their first post season.

And the Tigers haven't played great against the Yankees this season. We'll be seeing them in the ALCS.

Tigers don't have the postseason experience...and only a couple of players have actually played in the postseason and you can only rely on them for so much. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off.

lol, the Tigers are set for the future. I doubt they win it this year, b/c I still feel a White Sox comeback, but cross your fingers, you never know w/ the playoffs.
