Not too big, not too small.
Great climate (sometimes a bit hot in summer).
No natural disasters like tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes.
Great cultural mix (Anglo/Hispanic).
First class university (UNM) on one of the most beautiful campuses in the U.S.

The best city for me is Raleigh, NC where I live; the best city to visit for me is LAs Vegas, NV, a 24/7, 365 town.

Hi,, That would be Deadhorse Alaska........ far enough away from all the rest of the crazy things and people in the lower 48....

It is NEVER boring. We've got crazy mess happening here that you'll never see ANYWHERE else.
And sometimes we get three different seasons in a week.
