The Exorcist is the scariest movie ever made. The original The Haunting is also quite good.

Ultra scary movies include: The Exorcist, The Shining, The Omen (see the new one), 28 Days Later, Event Horizon, The Grudge, The Ring. The list goes on and on but these are the best I know of.

*********Saw 1 sucked but saw 2 is great so I guess you'll need to see saw 1 but what ever you do DO NOT SEE the lady in the water that is a horrible dreadful movie, not scary wise but stupid wise, Horror movie these days tend to put more humor in them which adds stupidity to the plot some movie coming out that seem promising is The Decent (friday) where all dem girls get stuck in a cave and the new movie with Christina milian and veronica mars where that dude keeps popping out the computer (aug11) good luck!*******

Dog soldiers. It's about a group of soldiers that hears about a wereworlf family living in scottland and they want to capture them, but as horror movies go... it all goes horribly wrong.
I've never been able to see this movie sequentially. I watch a 5 min segment here, another segment there... I've seen the whole thing, but not in one go.

I saw this one called "Hills Have Eyes" and I thought it was not very scary as it was nasty...I also liked an old one... Event Horizon... I guess the all time favorite would be the Excorcist... I have never watched it, I am so scared of Linda Blair... I've had nightmares with that ugly face of hers... Aside from those, I wouldn't know...
