There are certain ways of building houses when u want to save on air conditioning, but if ur living in a apartmenet i would suggest
1 use some double drapes to avoid sunlight entering it
2 clear ur roomwith all the cluter
3 move heavy object in different room
4 wear cotton clothes
5 have more and more liquids
6 eat less on non vegetarian food
7 have lots of raw fruits and vegetables
if u cam accross any thing new do tell me also

If you have a beach near you, that's one way. If you have a pool, that's another. A cold shower always works. Wear light clothing, preferably white. If they are meshy then all the better. Don't wear hats, and if you're at home, take off your shoes. Although if you're in your house, I don't see why being naked is a problem. Where I live it's usually between 95 to 105 degrees... in chrismas (summer is hotter) and everyone does thew things I listed.

Put a couple wet towels in the freezer. When frozen, wrap around your neck and keep switching them out.
Get a fan and stand in front of it w/ a spray bottle of ice water and spray the fan. The water comes back and splashes you.
Wear a tank top and shorts and flip flops. Light weight.
Good luck.
Its hot in CA too.

Get a big bucket of water with lots of ice.. Use ice to cool yourself down. Place the ice in your palms, somtimes on your wrists, behind your ears. Perhaps take a cold shower (not to cold) that should help for a while.
