Even if it was that way to assist in the separation of the paper I always manage to tear it halfway through the middle of a sheet.

Some people might want to use 3 sheets, some like to use 4, 5, or 6 at a time. This way, everybody is happy.
Well, everybody who can tear the sheet at the perforations that is. Maybe you should try another brand.

Get the tp made for toddlers in training and follow the paw prints til you get to the dog and you have just the right amount to use.

Depends what you use it for. If it's for blotting the end of your todger then 1 sheet is enough.
