There are literally thousands of communicable diseases. Some only affect humans, others only affect animals, yet others infect plants.
Human diseases include readily communicated diseases such as flu (such as Asian flu), whooping cough, mumps, measles, and of course, the STDs which are selectively communicated.
Animal diseases include Bird flu, Coccodiosis, anthrax, rabies.
Plant diseases include leaf curl, blight (think of the Irish famine, which was the result of potato blight) rust, which affects wheat, and many more.
These are only a few of the many, many communicable diseases sitting out there. So go wash your hands after reading this e-mail! ;-)
