The number of times you have sex doesn't matter. Some people get pregnant the first time.

Its not like there's a cumulative impact, its a matter of getting lucky and getting the right timing.
Every other day between periods is sufficient - even if you ovulate a day after sex, you can get pregnant. Personally, I would suggest not worrying about trying to figure out 'the day' ovulation is coming. Some studies now suggest women can ovulate at more than one point in the month, and its possible that having sex triggers the ovulation. just go for it every other day.
Doctors will not consider you to have a fertility problem unless you've had sex every other day for over a year with no pregnancy. Its funny, because we all grow up feeling like if you have unprotected sex once, wham, baby, but the odds are against that. It could take a while, try to enjoy it. My wife is 8 months pregnant, I certainly miss the every other day activity now :/

I have heard that if you keep a chart of your cycle, and when you ovulate, you should have sex every other day, around the time of ovulation, in order to conceive. With my son, it took me 4 years to conceive him. With the baby I'm pregnant with now, it only took a week and a half! Every body and every situation is different. Just don't stress too much about the life you're creating, and enjoy every moment with your significant other!! You'll find if you relax and enjoy it, nature will eventually take its course (doctors told me I couldn't have children because I had PCOS-polycystic ovarian syndrome---what do they know, right?) Good luck to you....and HAVE FUN!!

It is not the number of times that matter. To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

I had sex one time and got pregnant because it just happened to be when I was ovulating. If you want to increase your odds have sex for the 3-5 days around your ovulation time and it will happen for you. Good luck.

It doesn't matter how many times you have sex. You need to figure out which days you are ovulating. Find out how many days there usually are between the first days of your period. Around the 14th day is when you ovulate (assuming you have about a 28 day cycle).

Well the number of times you have sex has nothing to do with getting pregnet. You can get pregnent with One shot or you may not get pregnent with hundreds of shots.
As regards having sex in a month. In my opinion you should have sex twice a day in the initial years of your marriage. And once every day untill you are 40 yrs of age.

It shouldn't matter how many times you have sex, its when your body is ovulating which matters. My husband and I got pregnant two weeks after we got married. We had sex probably twice a week.
