I request Xenosaga. It has three episodes, that I recommend be played in order to get the best out of the series. It is on PS2 and is an RPG. Another reason why I recommend that you play them in order, is because when you play episode 1:Der Wille zur Macht, after you beat it, it asks you if you want to save Game Clear Data, and you answer yes. It then gives you more privliges in Xenosaga episode 2:Jenseits von Gut und Bose. Same thing at the end of the 2nd episode. Again, answer yes to save the data. It will now give you other privliges in episode 3:Also sprach Zarathustra, release date:8/29/06. For now Xenosaga episode 3 will be the final episode in the series. Released so far this year? Nothing really stands out. But God of War and/or any of the Prince of Persia games are awesome strategic/puzzle games. Ratchet and Clank is awesome for platforming and I'm really into RPGs and strat games as well and LOVE Ratchet and Clank. It's a lot of fun. You might wanna check out Star Ocean for Ps2, it's long but it's a lot of fun to play, if you haven't already. Otherwise there is always Final Fantasy. There are lots of awesome games. Metal gear solid 2 and 3 are great games. MGS2 is rated m for mature for violence, blood, some language and breif nudity. I dont recomend that one though get MGS3. It's genre is tatical espionage. For the dumb ones out there it is a stealth shooter. If your looking for one that came out this year get MGS3: Subsistence.

try Eternal Ring, Castlevania, Samurai Warriors, or Soul Reaver 2 though the last one may be hard to find.
