Everyone in my neighborhood has dogs it seems. i'm tired. Am i the only person that likes to have some quiet around here. Why do people get dogs even if they have social active lives? If you were lonely, i would understand, yoo need a companion, but many of these people have families and are so outgoing. so why they need dogs..

Not all dogs bark constantly and disturb the peace and quiet of others. I've always had dogs and they're great companions even if you have a family. Many people enjoy the contact they have with animals and it makes them very happy. I'm sorry you'll never know the joy of owning a dog. In my case, I rescued a dog who'd lost his home and he's repaid me over and over again for the love I've given him. I know you don't understand.........

You problem doesn't appear to be with dogs, but with noise. Do you just hate dogs, or do you hate barking? Wouldn't you hate cats too if you had (like I have in the past) a pair of them fighting underneath your bedroom window at 0300? Or how about the uncontrolled neighbors kids that are screaming and making noise at 10:30pm on a work night because their parents aren't paying attention to them? There is nothing wrong with dogs, and those of us that are responsible owners train them to not bark incessantly to the point where it annoys the neighbors.

I think you need to rethink what your problem is... it isn't the dogs, it is the dog owners. You either need to talk to them to ask them to address the problem, or you need to consider moving.

Me thinks that somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed!

If you want to go to the extreme, call the cops.
If you want to go the normal route, just deal with it.

Dogs bark.
Babies cry.

Nothing is going to change those two ways of life.

Either move and live in your own secluded area and pray a dog never comes into your areas, or just deal with it.

obviously, the people in your neighborhood, unlike you, look beyond their own nose. its a free country and they can have their dogs without your approval. many dogs are killed everyday because no one will adopt them from their animal shelter while people are constantly buying dogs from breeders. i strongly disagree with this. i think it is good that the people in your neighborhood have dogs, unless they are having new lives created for them while other innocent ones are being killed. deal with the noise, the dogs have to deal with your noise. its only fair to bring up the fact that their barking bothers you, and your music, tv, etc. bothers them. DEAL WITH IT AND GET OVER URSELF. THEY NEED A HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a dog and a family. and she plays with my daughter and keeps her safe whens he's outside. she never barks either so don't say that all dogs bark. dogs are nice animals to have. they're loving, and watchful of danger. they like to protect you. that's why i have a dog instead of a cat. what's a cat gonna do if someone breaks in my house and goes for my daughter. not a damn thing. but my dog will tear his nuts off and laugh bout it

Go here for an awesome dog training program http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?2ghe

Since it is obvious that you do not have a clue about obedience training, your services should be for free. You cannot train even an adult dog for 8 hours a day. About the most that can be done at any one time is 10 - 20 minutes and that is with an adult dog and not a puppy. The attention span on this baby is extremely short and training session should be no more than 10 minutes and twice a day. Additionally, there isn t going to be much learned if you will only be training for 5 days. Obedience training is cumulative and is done over a much longer period of at least several weeks to several months.
What you can charge is determined by your experience, reputation, and accomplishments and in a case like this, should also include guaranteed expectations. Just working with dogs over several years, is not the experience that is necessary to be a dog trainer. There are too many people who are putting that title to their name and fleecing the public. Don t be one of them.
