I had a small case of acne on my chin so I use proactive. It didn't help at all, in fact, it hurt my skin! I also tried using Persagel 10 but that made me break out worse! I need a product that is good for sensitive skin, but is still effective enough to get rid of these horrible zits! Please guys, any suggestions?

Proactive didn't work for me either and my skin is SOOOO sensitive...I even break out in the sun! Check out www.seriousskincare.com They have a line for problematic skin....their products worked for me, maybe they will do the same for you :) Good luck!

Give your skin a rest and perhaps it can heal itself.

Use oatmeal soap (Aveeno makes one) and witch hazel afterward to effectively clean the area and give it a chance to recover.

Then after a week, find a cream with a little salicylic acid (aspirin) in it that is hypoallergenic and non-clogging for pores, and use it SPARINGLY once a day on your problem areas.

If this doesn't work, consult a dermatologist.

Good luck!

Honestly, the best you can do is see a dermatologist about this. S/he will be able to recommend products that will work for you. That's better than dishing out money on creams that will not help or make things even worse.

Stidex, i use it and it the best. Three times a day for about three days, and your zits are gone. But make sure you get the "Sensitive Skin" kind.

I would check with your dermatoligist. I know my 15 year old has the same problem. Of course he did not use it consistently - but he just did not like it.

i use DDF.. and I love their skin care line.. if you dont want to go that pricey, i hear Aveeno is excellent in the skin care products (have even thought of trying it)..

Another good one I have used, but my skin got immune to it is Kiehl's
