Deja vu is a sensation of having done something before.
Dreams can be a source of prediction.
There is a theory that if you experience deja vu is it because you have dreamed about that moment (whether or not you remember the dream)
However, it can also be caused by doing something that you last did as a small child.
Or it could be a glitch in the MATRIX ;) Sorry, couldn't resist.

I can only speak to my experience, and I don't automatically belittle, judge, or presume to know about the experience of anyone else. There are (a very few) times when I'll have deja vu, and think and think about it, and then actually remember what set it off. It REALLY was a similar experience that actually happened. (Well, I remember looking at that door just a certain way, at just a certain angle). From there, the feeling lingers into other things that didn't necessarily happen the first time. This has happened before from something in a dream: a building will look similar (but not exactly the same) to something I dreamed; or a tree or something. In my life...not a big deal.

There is a theory that deja vu is down to the speed of your sight. It goes that if your (eg) right eye sees something a mini-second after your left eye, your brain recieves something that it has already seen. This leads to the confusion, and feeling of deja vu. This may also explain why deja vu is an instant phenomonen, rather than you waking up one morning to 're-live' a whole day or even an hour, the sense of deja vu usually passes in a second. It is also worthwhile to note that deja vu is of no use in predicting lottery numbers etc as we don't 'know' deja vu until it has passed.

Yeah.....I've always called it pre-deja vu.
When I start realising i am having deja vu and then I can race head of whats happening and predict what is about to happen in real time.
Not sure how this all works.
I have also had a few 'visions'...
One was the about the 'worst day of my life'.
I saw it in a vision when i was around 14. Lived it at 29. And now feel so liberated in the belief that it will never be that bad. Things are great by the way now.

well, if you are waiting for lottery numbers, you'll be waiting for ever. it doesn't work like that. if it did we would all be millionaires!! :)
i often have deja vu and remember the dreams where they have come from. the snipets can last up to a minute where everything is exactly as i dreamed it.
i have got to a stage where i can recognise when i've had a dream that i will get a deja vu moment later on... but they are not on context so it isn't really useful information.
it was all very confusing to start with, but you'll get used to it, and you can either block it out or work on it. i've stopped working on it as i jsut don't have the time to remember my dreams anymore.

there are some dreams that are more than just dreams, dreams that a person remembers their entire life... those are a little bit more than dreams... Deja Vu is a memory you have of something that never happened... collide is a rather strong word. As far as pure clarity, you may attain it, but not for greed- Lottory is not a reason to strive for pure clarity, because the greed is in the way therefor muddling what would , perhaps, be clarity....

I believe that our deja vu is closely linked with our dreams.
As being able to predict the future I think, if we are told something is going to happen to us in the future then we are looking for it, and because we are looking for it we find it. (seek and ye shall find)
The 6th sense is an old saying - because as humans we have other senses - about 24 altogether I don't know all of them but I can remember one but don't know the name of it. it is the a sense that tells us where our hand is in relation to the body, even with our eyes closed. try it close your eyes with your hands spread apart then put your hands together. You will never miss. That is one of the extra senses.
Sorry that I couldn't shead anymore light onto your question for you.

I too have actually experienced something like that. I'll have a dream, and then sometime after, maybe days, weeks, or even month and I'll of a sudden I will feel like I have done this before, at least the place I'm at and the people I'm with, seems familiar.
