Work out an arrangement with him to divide up the time. My husband gets "computer time" from when he get home from work at 4:30 until 6:00 while I play with the kids. Then at 6, he's in charge of playing with the kids while I make dinner and clean up around the house.

'Accidentally' break an expensive part-preferably the whole thing. If you have a smaller desk, loosen the screws on the legs and cause the whole thing to crash into the floor...
OR-you could get someone to send you a virus. I did this once and it worked TERRIFICALLY! Of course-try to pick one between total failure and easily fixed. Even if he gets it fixed, keep uploading it.
The one I uploaded made the thing run soooo slloooww that it aggravated him endlessly. He finally just gave up.

I am going through this with my wife.
It has become a vicious circle. She is too tired to do anything more than flop on the couch and watch TV.
I don't care to watch TV, but she won't do anything else.
I go to the PC, as it's entertaining.
Find out what it is he does on the PC and try and negotiate some time away from it (start small, but be persistant)

Leave him for a week or so. Or leave him with your son. Let him have to take care of the boy by himself. You probably need counseling because he has stopped communicating. I would also be suspicious that he has met someone online.

Start billing him on a per minute usage plan. It wont take long before he realizes that he is getting shafted and wake up. Kind of like your local cell phone carrier sticking it to you when the free-bees expire.

You know what interests your husband. Distract him with that. BUT is your relationship a strong one? Sounds like he's hiding from you without going to the trouble of leaving you.

put itching powder on the mouse/keyboard or someother "ball" irritant - try putting some sort of lice in his computer chair, and if that fails cut the power.
Also make it know to his freinds that hubby spends a lot of time abusing himself in front of the computer

Tell him that if he doesn't pay more attention to the two of you, then he can take his pretty computer and leave.

When he is at work, throw the computer away. Or file for divorce, that should get his attention!
