I've never read the book, so I'm assuming there is someone out there that has and I'm hoping they'll answer. Me and my husband have watched this movie since before we can even remember..Now our boys, 8 and 4 watch it. It would be nice to know because last night my son said.."what did he say?". LOL I have no answer for him!

Ya know, I have no idea. I know it was his mom's name - but the thunder kinda blocks it out...
Oh wait, on IMDB it says he calls out "Moonchild". Maybe that's it..

Bastian had to name the Empress, he chose his mother's name, but I can't remember what that was. I wonder if you can tell if you turn on the captions.
