To anyone with knowledge: is it true that Israel currently imprisons women and children?

I want factual evidence, not anectdotal. Please give sources and explain the reasoning, if true.

Many Lebanese and Palestinians say that Israel is currently imprisoning innocent women and children.

Please do not give undocumented statements, but tell me how you know, not just that you've heard. I've heard alot of things in my life, and I just don't blindly believe.

Israel imprisons Palestinian women, sometimes with there under-age children. The small children are imprisoned so as not to separate them from their mothers, because in most cases the fathers are also imprisoned.
Adolescents are also imprisoned.
Some of these prisoners are imprisoned in what is called an "administrative imprisonment" meaning that they are locked up for a long time with out being formally charged or standing to trial. The this is a sort of "terrorist act" we have in Israel.
BTW there are some Jewish citizens that are arrested this way.
In any case the women are imprisoned just like any other terrorist because they are suspected of terrorist activities. I believe that this is true for most of them.
In this regard your question is a bit strange. Would you ask :"Are there any women in jail?"

Lebanese women and children are NOT IMPRISONED in Israel, but a few adult male terrorists are.

how many people say that there aer innocent women and children imprisoned within the U.S?

The answer - The relatives of every woman and child convicted of a crime in the U.S.

Of course the palistinians say this. They believe their fighters to be innocent soldiers, not terrorists.

Israel believes they are terrorists who are trying to kill innocent civilians and so lock them up.

So, yesthere are woman and children locked up, and yes the palistinians claim they are innocent people, BUT they have broken Israeli and international laws, so doesnt really matter what the palistinians believe.

Like I said, almost all family members believet heir relitives are innocent.

How mant times have you heard a parent deny something their kid did with just a simple "they would never do that!"

Are you speaking in general, as in criminals, or are you speaking of terrorists? And then you have to define children? I mean, 17 year olds are still children.

I lived in Israel for a few years and I never heard of women and children being imprisoned unless they were guilty of a crime. I also never heard of women and/or children being imprisoned for terrorist activities; however, at the time there were not women suicide bombers.

I mean if it comes from the terroists (Hezbollah) and the country that harbors them, hom much can you put into that? I don't believe the U.S. would back that kind of activity so I will say NO. Unless they are connected to terrorism.

I don't think that true, there may be women in prison for commiting a crime just like the U.S. but not just imprisoned for being imorisoned sake.

if they are terroist woman and children what is the difference. they are terroists. does it matter how old a killer is or if they dont have a johnson to be a killer. what you seem to forget they are killers. if you let woman and children go around killing people just coz their sex or age then I want to be a young woman so I can kill and steal . but the law is for everyone
