All my fish have names from Harry Potter (I'm a huge fan). I just pointed out their nuances and picked a character that best fit them.

Then there is Plato and Speckles. History (my other love) and my baby that I have had for 9 years and is a tad fruity! ;)

Think of your hobbies (other than fish) or what types of books/movies you like, and give them names from there. May not be original, but it works out for me.
