Has anyone having deabetes type 2(contolled with pills) has been pregnant? Any sugestions or comments? Thanks

I have gestational diabetes controlled by medication (the same used by type 2) and it has worked very well for me. I still have to follow a strict diet but generally my readings are all within normal ranges and I feel none of the side-effects. My sister on the other hand had type 2 and needed to use insulin injections to control and had a much harder time balancing her highs and lows. The pill ( I use glyburide) keeps it balanced for me as long as I eat right. I hope this is helpful!

i had diabetes type 2 when i was pregnant with my last baby , the only thing my doctor told me to do is watch what i ate , i did not have to take no pills , and i think i still have it sometime

diabetes type-2 is diabetes insipeds which is hormonal problem .I suggest u meet an specialist PG in medicine,if doctor have suggested u to have pills then find out for others &obey majority
