Nope, I went and saw United 93, and even though I cried it was still a very good movie and that was released several months ago. Plus, they are donating a certain part of the proceeds of this movie to the 9/11 Fund which is very cool. I will probably see it when it comes out.

Anytime is too early. I'm not the type to display emotions outward very strongly but I had tears rolling and my heart was breaking right in two when I saw it the first time.
I think that the movie focuses on the heroes and it will probably do them a great deal of justice by honoring them and it seems like it will be a classy movie but it just feels wrong to me.
There are other, better, ways to honor those heroe's than to exploit them. Does anyone know if they are donating the profits to the
9-11families or anything?
It'll keep the memory alive so people will keep things in prospective when they bash the war effort.
Unless the money is going to the families, I'm 99.9% sure I won't watch it.

NO, if anything we took too long. People will always say no no it's too early. BULL, we need to make movies about it to get through to people that it HAPPENED. American's have short attention spans and need to be reminded of what happened. Yeah we will remember a plane flew into the buildings, but we forget what happened. We forget how we felt and why we felt like that.
To the one saying about Tora! Tora! Tora! try recognizing the difference between the two. That is the story of the JAPANESE'S ATTACK on Pearl Harbor. This movie on the WTC being attacked is about America being attacked from an American view. This isn't about the planning that lead to it and the details of how the attack happened and such. This is so much less then Tora! Tora! Tora! was.

No I don't. Should we all just bury our heads in the sand? Its history, and movies are made about historical events everyday, both good and bad. If you don't want to see it, then don't. Just because a movie is made about 9-11, doesn't change anything. these protesters need to get over it already, and just move on. I get tired of them trying to dictate to everyone what can or cannot be done about that tragic day and stop acting like they are the only ones who were affected by that days events!

No. Its been almost 5 years. The country has moved on. If now is too early it will never be late enough. What happened was a tragedy but it's time to move on. Not to forget, never to forget, but it was going to happen. This movie I think is he perfect type for the time. It appears to focus on the heroes more than the tragedy that formed them.

Not too early.. but too late.. the scene has been played over and over for the last 5 years, and I don't know if anyone really wishes to see it yet another time.

Way too early, as in they should have NEVER made a movie about it. It's not like we're ever going to forget it.

No it came out with perfect timing. Nice way to make people hate middle eastern people in a time where the government's actions are heavily criticised and lowly supported. Everything happens for a reason.

I think it always be to early to make a movie about 911, its engraved in our minds. I won't go see the movie! It was painful and I don't care to relive it all over again.

Inevetable. I saw a documentary year after that was very visual. Not sure about this one though. It's supposed to be about familes. It's still a sensitive topic - hope the movie is sensitive to that as well.
