During a visit to a mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criteria is that defines if a patient should be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub. Then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."
Okay, here's your test:
1. Would you use the spoon?
2. Would you use the teacup?
3. Would you use the bucket?
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket, as it is larger than the spoon."

I feel that the question is skewed and would be a highly inaccurate way of determining anyone's institutionalizeability (not a real word). By giving someone the three items mentioned, you're forcing an assumptive choice upon them, that they must use one of the three items given to them. Using that assumption, any normal person would use the bucket. However, when asked to empty a bathtub with those items present but not pointed out, most people would simply pull the drain plug or actuate the knob to release the internal drain mechanism.
It's a like a mental card trick where you force a card on someone... you make them pick the card you want them to have.
Anyway, most people could use a good therapist regardless of how they answer the question.
