It's the chemistry reaction. Alcohol, if exposed to oxygen will create vinegar (which is acid).
That's why you have to close your wine bottle if you can't finish it, since too much exposure to the air will turn the wine into vinegar :)

especially alcohol frm a palm tree in the carribean many youths do this some palm wine just leave it for a couple of weeks then itll becum acidic and itll get ny1 drunk even the dons

It does not, Acetyl Aclcohol usually becomes acetaldehyde. Only when you consume too much and saturate all metabolic pathways to acetaldehyde..it can become acetic acid, aceton and acetoacitic acid. Biochemistry was not my forte but you can easily search for these pathways on net.
