Tank top, shorts, sunglasses (the glare is really bad depending on what part of the stadium your seats are in) and a ballcap or hat-if it's a look you can pull off, unless you've got seats under the awning which is always nice. Bring a light jacket in case it rains-it'll cool off fast.
Yes-cameras are allowed. (Unless they changed the rules since last season.) I fly to NY several times a season to watch their games. Summer games are brutal but you should try watching a game here in Florida-temp might be 90 but with the heat index, it's about 112!!!
You will have lots of fun. If you don't have anything Yankee-ish to wear, don't worry. Get to the stadium early and walk around a few city blocks. There are TONS of vendors selling Yankee gear and it's not priced outrageously either.

The sun won't be as hot at gametime, so at least wear a Yankees cap with whatever else you choose. I'd recommend a very thin tank top and shorts to keep you cool and looking good at the same time.
Don't know about the digicams but I'm pretty sure that they're allowed. You might give the stadium a call later today to check.
Enjoy the game.

A sundress or shorts & a tank are fine (for an evening game, the dress may be batter, more coverage if it cools down in the later innings). Wear a hat, bring a plastic spray bottle with ice water, and definitely wear a hat, especially if your seats are in the lower deck towards the front, you will get NO shade, it can still be sunny that late. You can bring a regular digital camera, but not a video camera. If you have an expensive digicam with video function, don't bring it, if they know it has video, they WILL confiscate it. Buy a cheap still shots only one. Don't bring anything in your handbag that you wouldn't bring on an airplane, and bring the smallest bag possible.

Wear a tank shirt and shorts. When you get to the stadium, buy a hat and a Yankees tank shirt. Go change your shirt and SCREAM FOR THE YANKEES ! ! ! ( can you guess I'm a Yankees fan ). Use the shirt that you wore to the stadium to line the seat, otherwise you will stick to it in the humidity.
Actually, what I do for the hat is that I have one of the big Yankees top hat. I take a large take-out soup container and fill it with water about 3/4 up and freeze it. When I go to the stadium, I put frozen container with a lid on the container upside down on my head and cover with the hat. The ice melts and drips my head. The hat is absorbent enough so that it really doesn't drip down my face.
Have fun !

It's a night game, so it won't be quite as hot. Just wear a Yankees t-shirt and a pair of shorts! I live in TX and go to Ranger games where it's in the 100's, but you better believe I have my Michael Young shirt on - it's really not that bad though, especially since it's at night.

Wear light colored clothing of light wt. materials. You'll need a hat
of some kind. Don't show excess skin, you'll only burn. Some
people think less clothing is the best, but isn't true.
Covered skin sweats,thereby cooling you.
Try it. Don't forget to drink water not soda.
