people have told me that you can be subjected to evil or good spirits...but what actually happends to you?? ive not done a ouiji bored but no-one seems to tell me what will actually happen if things go wrong ?? l

A ouji board is a simple game that is supposed to give you answers to questions that you put to it while using it... The reason most people do not like it is out of their own fears and perceptions of the other side... Sylvia Browne, a world re-known psychic does not believe that the board itself has any special powers but she does warn you to beware when using it because you are opening yourself up to ANY kind of spirit for answers..even lower level ones that may just be there to annoy you. If you are not familiar with the spiritual world and have your own personal fears, these fears will play a big part into what you could receive, if anything, from this simple game.. If you are really searching for serious answers to your problems, rather than a manufactured game, take the time to pray to your God, or even meditate on your questions and search within yourself..these are more reliable sources for the help in which you are searching and be patient, the answers will be there if you take the time to listen... your own conscience will be a much better daily guide than expecting something good from the unexpected...such as the ouiji board.

Rule number 1.- NEVER DO A OUIJA BOARD only because you are bored or whatever, you know why because of the other answers and it has something to do about not being able to close the door and taking too much risk.
Rune mumber 2: If you make the mistake to play with that sort of thing, it is necessary to build a circle so the spirit doesn't run away. You need at least someone else to make the circle by taking your hands. Never do that alone for it is too open.

Imagine a door. It's a door to another realm. Imagine opening that door and seeing the 'things' on the other side. Imagine too, that you have your hand firmly on the doorknob, so if anything bad were to happen, you could simply pull the door quickly shut. This is a metaphor for Invocation of Entities through knowledge of what one is doing.
Now imagine the same door again. This time, you kick the door in, shattering it from its hinges and breaking it into pieces. The door will now not shut. you will have to know how to build a new door from scratch. If you were to see something unplesant rushing towards you and the space where the door used to be, could you build a door, attach it to hinges and mount it onto the doorframe before the unplesant 'thing' got to you? This is the metaphor for the use of the Ouija.
Please, don't play with matches without a fire extinguisher handy, unless you like the idea of dealing with insanity. THAT is the prime danger.

A Ouiji board alone or not is a bad idea, just like if you have a spirit in your home, don't give it a name or it receives more power. Also, check the Bible, it has an answer.

Based on folklore, playing with a OuiJa board by oneself, opens up the possibility of a spirit entering your body and possessing you.
That is why it's important to ALWAYS have two or more people using it at any given time.
Of course, that's folklore. In reality, the OuiJa board is a child's toy and nothing is going to happen.

This is my opinion only, I do not speak for anyone else. I think ouijji boards opens whole new thing to bad spirits. I don't believe in ghosts. your not speaking to like a dead relative or something. Your speaking to satan himself. Satan knows all also that's why when you ask questions the ouijji board goes to the correct answer. I would becareful if I were you. It's up to you what you do. This is my opinion only.

You can try it if you wish but I would not advise in doing so unless you know what you're doing. For started the board is not a toy - why they sell them in toy depts across the world beats me!
It is best to never ever attempt to use one along but there are so many that do and have no problems...............other on the other hand loses their soul....

You could talk to someone that died thats what there used for. cast a protective circle first and make sure that you are careful not to let in evil remember it can only come in if you let it.

nothing you are just alone and it either works for you the way you want it to or it doesn't. of course, you may be scared by the answers you receive...as lots of people seem to be.
