Water is a purifier and adding lemon is "supposed" to help that along... if nothing else, it tastes better. I have heard that iced water does some weird thing with your metabolism to help speed it up but just drinking water as a diet? Try eating senibly and get some exersize. Be healthy no matter your weight.

Hot water and lemon is used when dieting because it helps the liver, is a mild diuretic and help for desintoxicate.
You must drink it warm in the morning with no honey or sugar.
It will not help you reduce wight if you aren't doing a diet, but it will stimulate the liver, were fat are processed.

Cut your lemons in to pieces and pour on boiling water and add sweetener - it won't help you lose weight, but may help you stop catching colds. Especially, while you're running naked past my house during December. Now that will help you lose weight and just in time for Christmas.... The vitamin C being an anti-oxidant will mop up free radicals in your body - they are harmful molecules floating around that can cause cancer if you get too many floating around.

I usually don't drink fat-- but I doubt drinking hot water and lemon will give you the same results as drinking fat

No, it is just a way to get you to drink water, But by drinking water you will help your digestive system and will lose a very little bit of weight. Not just fat!!

This is what gets rid of fat: eat less and exercise. Most people don't want to face that fact, so they invent ridiculous diets to get around the basic fact that to lose weight, you must expend more energy than you absorb.

Most defiantly not, it can get you an ulcer, and stomach irritation. The best thing to lose fat is eating half of a grapefruit, but make sure is cool, not hot, that will upset your stomach.

My dad swears by it, but I think water of any temp is good and adding lemon just adds a bit of healthy flavor.

yup i did before for 2 months every morning and cellulite on the back of my thighs looked a lot less noticeable cider vinegar is excellent too you can take it in tablet form
