I can't help you with the photo problem, but the Smartbridge should be fixable easily. The only time I see this message is when I first started using IE 7. When you start or restart your computer an error msg comes up saying the Psapi.dll ( or close to that) is missing. The SBC Self Support Tool ( or might have a Verizon or other name) does not support IE 7 because it is still in Beta. Many programs and sites will do this while browers are in the Beta stage. There is a simple solution to this problem. Make your Smartbridge (or any other program that doesn't support IE 7) think they are seeing IE 6.

Go here and click on the link for "Internet Explorer 6" then click yes or ok for the next 2 boxes that appear. Then close the browser and reopen. Any site that doesn't support IE 7 will think it is IE 6 and work just fine. You will see no more error msgs for Smartbridge and it will function normally with IE7.

Got a very WORSE spyware/virus you got. Even reformatting would not work.

So better spend some money then.

Since Windows XP will lose its license when you install new hardware, buy a new genuine copy of Windows XP and trash the hard disk (because you really cannot delete the virus) and then buy a new one and install the new genuine copy of XP there.

Or, maybe you'll need anti-virus to remove it. I'm sure that problem was just plan, old, simple, but very annoying adware that will pop-up ads.
